“Anything!” I exclaimed, using hand motions as usual. “That’s the best part of the 4th of July! There’s so many ways to spend it! It could be at picnics, at sleepovers, at the movies, at the mall, at a beach, wherever we please!”

“Well, think about it later, because what you guys should be celebrating is Canada Day, which is TOMORROW!” Shuffle told us when he came up to us with Amelia perched on his head, where she normally was.
“Of course we’re gonna celebrate Canada Day!” I said to Shuffle. “We love the Canadians!”

“And I’m gonna be spending my Canada Day and Pride weekend with them,” Mandy said as she walked past us. “As in, Kurt and Blaine.”

Before she headed out the window I placed a hand on her.
“You’re going right now?” I asked.

"Yup!" she told me cheerfully.
"I wish I could go to the Pride Parade," I muttered under breath.

I exhaled and held out my hand. "Okay. But first, gimme the purple bracelet."
"But Kurt gave it to me," Mandy said. "And I kinda am going to see him."
"But I want it!" I whined. "It brings me good luck. Also I don’t want it to get dirty on your journey to Canada.”

"Geez, fine," Mandy said as she gave me the bracelet.
I grabbed the bracelet in a fist with satisfaction.
"You're insane," Mandy sighed.

"Have fun!" I called back. “Tell Dance I said hi!”

Then I muttered under my breath, “I wish I lived in Canada”

“Well too bad, you don’t,” Shuffle scoffed. “Speaking of Canada Day, I was hoping to go see my relatives up in Canada!”
“Of course you are,” I said unsurprised. “So you need me to keep an extra eye on your kids and to help Lily and stuff.”

“Nope, I’m taking them with me! We’re taking a family vacation to Canada!” Shuffle exclaimed.
“And lemme guess, you guys are gonna get lost at someone’s house?” I predicted.
“Kat, that was two years ago,” Shuffle reminded me.
“But you got lost twice in 2009! You’re lucky Lacey and Sarah found you!” I lectured.
“But I have better traveling skills now!” Shuffle said. “I can do it this time!”

Canada Day is a day away! What's everyone going to do? Well, some Webkinz are definitely not going to spend it in the United States! And Shona's lovely weekend isn't going as planned...
