Some Explanation for the "Second Generation" Family Placement and Temporary Thread Schedule Change
First of all, thank you guys so so so much for helping this thread reach 15,000 replies, 400,000 views and such. <3
Words cannot express how much I love you guys.
I love working so hard to create stories for you guys to enjoy.
Although it's tough, I'm gonna be here as much as possible to give you guys more stories to enjoy. <3

Kids! Yay kids!
My Webkinz have been adding to the "second generation" since summer 2009 with Shona and Icestorm's adoption of Cupid. Then Shuffle had Amelia, Santa gave Shicestorm little Shane, the aliens gave Blaze which Shona took in, and Shuffle rescued Chris. (Oh and if you count Tamaki's masterplanstrategy to adopt his current-buddy, Hikaru, when he woos Haruhi.)
A lot of people tell me how I only give kids to Shicestorm and Shily (Shuffle&Lily!) and how I should spread out the second generation more, or ask me why I do this.
You all a majority of you readers are quite younger than I (*patsheads*), and well, I admit I am young myself, but I have done my fair share of research on character and stuff like that.
Shona (along with Icestorm), has been the family-'Kinz nearly all of her time on the thread. Ever since her and Icestorm became puppy-mates, she's always wanted a little family of her own, which she frantically went out to get until now (I think Cupid, Shane, and Blaze is enough for her...and Cupid and Shane certainly agree). Cupid was adopted because Shona wanted her family that bad, Shane was adopted because Shicestorm has always wanted a Lil' Husky child (and Shona wanted more kids), and Blaze was adopted because only Shona could love an oddball like him.
Now for Shuffle and his family; you all are aware of how much Shuffle matured when he had Amelia. He was originally just Lacey's antagonist, and that's how I always wanted to be. The Shuffle and Lacey rivalry was similar to a rivalry I had in real life two years ago (don't want to go into it, but it's the kiddie version of a conflict that happened with me). (Oh and by the way, for those of you still interested in Shily's past conflicts I promised to tell years ago...I'm currently coming up with ideas for that for a special.) Eventually when the summer of 2009 came along where I no longer had contact with Shuffle's inspiration, I began to feel mad at myself for taking out all this anger on this little Webkinz. So how did I fix it? Of course I had the Canada Day storyline where Shuffle and Lacey finally made up, but I thought he should get pregnant too! That would definitely help mature his character.
People naturally mature very much when they have kids of their own. They drop their childish ways and realize it's time to grow up. (You'll be seeing this in the future.) This is what happened with Shuffle: he had his own kid and he realized it was time to put away his immature antagonistic ways and become a good parent to raise Amelia.
[Speaking of Shuffle's development...remember his and Lacey's story about why they became enemies? There's major goofs/timing problems. Just pay attention to what Lacey is wearing the whole time and then the update seems less magical. XD]
We also see this kind of development with Lily. She was always the grumpy and angry rebel in the beginning with her cheerful foil, Nick, by her side pestering her. She eventually came to realization that it was time to become a better person, and she really grew up when Amelia came into the picture and the two began to form their little mother-daughter bond.
You see, making Webkinz parents is a big thing. They have to go through a maturing phase like Shily did. And after that phase, there's no other actual things I can do with them characterly besides them dealing with their families. The rest of my Webkinz still have a lot of youngster adventures to do first. So let me develop those first before jumping into them starting families.

Gosh...I used so many literary terms. I HOPE YOU ALL PASS ENGLISH WHEN YOU'RE MY AGE.

I was the same way with Avatar: The Last Airbender. I felt the finale left too many gaps (although I loved it) when I was younger, now I look at it and see it as the most perfect thing ever and cry my eyes out watching the last 20 minutes every time.

Now to get to some thread news!
Oh my...it's my birthday on Monday. Who cares in real-life? Well apparently everyone does now. So tonight I needed to relax, play Sims, and watch Degrassi. Tomorrow will consist of being kidnapped by friends and eventually my grandma. Sunday there is a slight chance I might be kidnapped by my dad but I'll try to stay home and do schtuff. Monday I'm going to be kidnapped once more to go see HOP (IN HONOR OF KIKI). Tuesday and Wednesday will consist of me doing something speschul. I wanna surprise you guys...but I'm going to finally conclude one of my storylines I started and never got finished with, and maybe even get someone I've always wanted to get (and I'm talking back to 2 years ago).
"But Kat, what about us?"
HOW BOUTZ WE PARTIEZ? Thursday we could all go and have a ball in the Kinzville Park! Then Friday I could have a party pack party at my place! (So I can get my Key to Kinzville!) Then we can go to the Kinzville Park afterwards!
So please...tell me a lovely time to party on Friday if you would like to be invited to the party pack party and tell me yo Webkinz username if you aren't on my list (and don't just go and add me without telling me who you are first because then I'll get paranoid and reject you). So first come, first serve! And yeah!

Yes, I realize that. I'm so busy now. Friday are used getting back my sanity, my grandma takes up my Saturday, and Sunday I'm rushing to get my homework done.
So I am once again changing the thread schedule, but only temporarily.
I'm going to post just little picture stories on my thread weekendly instead of the regular ones!
"Kat that is horrible and doesn't satisfy."
I know.
But they'll be little fun short stories where I do a little bit of character development on a Webkinz. I came up with some ideas.
And don't worry! This will go on through the rest of this month, May, and the beginning of June.
"But what shall happen in June?"
Well, I will have missed so many weeks, I will have to make it up to you guys. Especially since it's all supposed to add up to special July updates.
I'll have no choice to cram all of these updates into June.
I'll have no choice but to attempt a telenovela-format event.
"What's a telenovela?"
It's where soap operas air new episodes of their show every day during the weekdays.
"Wait, so you're saying that during the weekdays in June...you're gonna post actual picture stories daily?"
I'll attempt, but I'm not sure how it's gonna work out. It'll be my first time doing it so I gotta see the results.
"But what about There She Goes? And Is the Grass Really Greener on the Other Side? 2?"
I'm going to post those over spring break...and the EASTER SPECIAL! (Eggs Ahoy!)
"Easter special?"
Yep, filled with bunnies and eggs and twists! It's gonna be interesting...
"Okay...so can you give us any hints about what's coming over the summer?"
Someone who hasn't had an actual storyline yet gets one! Also, an anticipated storyline which I started but never continued on finally gets continued on! To add to that fun, another popular storyline will get added on to. And more!
"Lemme guess, it's about Shuffle, Lily, Nick, or any of your other over-used Webkinz?"
No, actually. My idea train has officially come to a halt for now. :3 I currently have no plans to add onto their stories for now. I'm finally going to expand on characters I've wanted to expand on, but never got a chance to because I had ideas for those guys which just had to happen around for Christmas for it all to tie together.
(And remember, theories/predictions go in spoilers, please. :3)
