Point of View: Getting Old

Lady Karen and I decided to go outside together for some bonding time.
(I had a pic of her walking out the door with me but of course technology is cruel.)

I placed her onto the grass...

Lady Karen climbed up into the clubhouse.

I sat up with her and placed her in my lap.

"Even Fort Stacy is nearly gone," I commented.

"Even Madison is getting really old," I said. "Her chin is all gray and her eye is all droopy."

Then I brought her to Fort Stacy. "This is Fort Stacy...or at least what's left."
"Wow," Lady Karen said. "Seemed cool."
"It was," I said.

I let her climb onto my arm.
"Too bad nothing lasts forever," Lady Karen said.
"Actually, there's one thing I'm hoping I'll make last forever," I said.
"What?" Karen asked curiously.
"Our friendship," I said. "I wanna make my relationship with my little 'Kinzies last as long as possible, even when I'm a hundred years old."
