I was just walking out to the clubhouse. I wanted some alone time in the outdoors. Madison was trotting around.

I spotted Chloe.
"Oh, hello Chloe," I said, surprised she was there.
She didn't look at me. "Hello, Kat." There was no contentness in her voice.
"You sound preoccupied in a way," I commented.

She glared at me. "I am SICK and TIRED of this nonsense and I'm not going to let it happen anymore!" she said aggressively.
