That time Carlos finally heard.

Carlos fell to the ground with his ears piercing in pain.
"Ahhh! Sis! Not so loud!" he groaned.

Giraffe snickered in satisfaction and walked away.

"So, um, I brought you something!" Chloe said to Rex.
"What did you bring me?" Rex asked slightly anxious.
"I brought you a blow pop," Chloe said. "I thought you might like it."

Then she noticed, her blowpop vanished!

She patted the ground then let her belly drop to the ground as she searched and searched.

Rex flopped down to his stomach too to me her eye level. "You okay?"

Chloe looked around on the ground as she eased up. "Yeah, but the blowpop I brought you somehow slipped out of my paws!"

"And-where'd you go?"
When Chloe had looked up to look Rex in the eye she saw that he was gone too!

Then George appeared where Rex was sitting. "Expecting someone else?"
"I really hate you, George," Chloe said aggravated. "Was that really necessary?"

Then Chloe found herself floating in mid-air.
"Aaaaah!" she cried. "I mean, I love you, George! You're a very cool guy! Now put me down, Giraffe!"

Giraffe flicked his tail and Chloe fell to the ground.

She growled as she sat up.
"You guys think you're sooooo great when really you're just a bunch of-"

She stopped when she saw Rex sitting across from her. Her blowpop was even back!
"Are you okay, Chloe?" Rex asked in a concerned tone.
"Um, y-yeah, I'm fine," Chloe stuttered. "Here's the blowpop!"

Rex grabbed her and hugged her. "Thank you, and I'm so glad you're okay! You were worrying me!"
Chloe closed her eyes and smiled to herself as she let herself relax in Rex's arms.
