“It’s going amazing, Tams!” Friend exclaimed, thrilled. “This stuff is so cool! Zhu Zhus can wear costumes and can ride cars and even have babies!”

“That sounds cool!” Tammy said as she went next to her. She was also relieved that Friend was calling her ‘Tams’ because it meant that Friend was happy and they were on good terms. “I’m so glad you and Monroe can have something in common.”

Madeline came up to them.

“You guys are voting for me for prom queen, right?”

“There’s a prom?” Friend asked, confused.

“Yep! Later this summer we’re having a prom!” Madeline said. “Bring a date or two! Or none at all! And VOTE FOR ME for prom queen!”
“Suuuure,” Friend said unenthusiastically.
“Great!” Madeline grinned.

“You should ask Monroe to be your dance partner at the prom!” Tammy suggested. “He’d probably love a Zhu Zhu buddy as a dance partner!”
“Yeah!” Friend said. “But first, I want to become his Zhu Zhu buddy first.”

Monroe hugged one of them and admitted, “They’re my babies.”

“Have you ever thought of bothering Kat for the Kung Zhus thing?” Friend asked.
“Kat would never get even another hamster but I would love that,” Monroe said.
“We could battle our hamsters together!” Friend threw out there.
“You know Friend,” Monroe said, “ever since Kat brought us home together I had a feeling we’d make good pals.” He half-smiled. “I’m glad we can share an interest of Zhu Zhu pets together!”
Friend blushed. “Well they are cool hamsters!”
“Indeed they are,” Monroe said contently. “Indeed they are.”
