A Mini Picture Story!
Ladies' Night - The Picture Story: La Aventura
Part 1
"KAT WHAT IS GOING ON???? WHY IS THERE SPANISH?"
So remember how Madeline, Maddy, Lacey, Laraine, Shona, and Icestorm ran into Parkee and Carlos in the basement in the picture story flashbacked above?
Well I have to write a short story for Spanish class using past tense, and I thought, "why not write about their point of view of that story? That would be interesting! I could also share it with my marshmallow peeps!"
So I made it in picture story form so I had an outline of what to create for the project. I'm going to use these pics as an outline to draw pictures because I feel like my current teacher (unlike my geometry teacher last year who I submitted "The Dasher Project" to) is a part of mainstream society that believes that picture threading requires no effort. (It's an art which requires years of practice to master and lots of lost sleep and effort with writing good stories and getting the perfect pictures.)
So, here is the English version of the story!

I looked up and saw Penny.
"Hi, Kat!" Penny greeted. Whatcha doing?"
"Writing a story about Parkee and Carlos! I'm gonna ask them to act it out now!"

"Hello!" Parkee exclaimed. "My name is Parkee! This is my friend, Carlos. I am going to tell you about an adventure we went on."

"It was a Friday night. Carlos and I were bored. At 7 PM, we decided to leave our owner's bedroom and go on an adventure."

"Suddenly, I had an idea. I took my best friend and we went downstairs. There had to be something fun down there!"
