Part 5
Tropical Banana and I were sitting on my bed (his head buried in my leg) waiting for Dr. Quack to send results to the magic printer.

Lacey came up on the bed.
"What did the doctor say?" she asked.
"We're waiting for him to send a note to the magical printer downstairs," I said.

Tropical Banana rested his chin on my leg.
"I hope this all gets straightened out," he said.

Lacey climbed onto my lap.
"Don't worry, it will," she said to him.

"It came," Carlos said.
