4. Webkinz and Diagnoses (on This Thread)
There are a couple of Webkinz of mine that have been diagnosed with something. Clueless about what they have? Be sure to check here. (Please note that I am not a doctor so I'm not a complete expert on them.)
Real-Life Disorders
Nicole has OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)
She keeps having thoughts about keeping clean and it causes her anxiety. She fears contamination. (Goes to counseling about it.)
Maya has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)
She has trouble paying attention and concentrating.
Harvey has Insomnia
He has trouble falling asleep no matter what. (He takes some sleep medication.)
Midnight Cloud has Dyslexia
She is having trouble learning how to read because her brain sees text differently. (Is in the special ed program at the Kinzville Academy.)
Old Man Jenkinz has Asperger Syndrome
He has trouble socializing, over-sensitive to things, has odd behaviors, and he surrounds all his interest and attention around what he likes (dogs).
Disorders That Only Webkinz Can Have
Sophie has OFD (Obsessive Food Disorder)
Her world surrounds around food. She talks about it, dreams about it, and eats until she's totally full. If she doesn't get the food she wants she tends to tantrum. (She's getting better thanks to the camp she went to in January 2010, but she's still not completely better...)
Lacey has Transfizzerzibber (trans-fizzer-zibber) Sydrome
Her Transfizzerzibber (organ that helps her connect to Webkinz World and back to Earth) doesn't produce enough juice for a transfer so she currently is having some trouble connecting to Webkinz World. (Doing better thanks to medicine and some donation of Transfizzerzibber juice from her twin sister, Sarah's Sandy.)
