Cottonball scurried to the window with Rover at her side and the Ferret following behind.

When they made it to the bush under my window Cottonball yelled, "KAAAAAAT!"

As soon as I heard them I started letting the Webkinz Elevator down.

"Hello, Rover," I said to him when I pulled him in.

Then I pulled in Cottonball.

"Hello, Cottonball," I said when I pulled her in. "Who's stuffed in the basket with you?"

I picked her up...

The Ferret had climbed out of the Webkinz Elevator.
“The name’s Sadiella [sah-dee-eh-la], but you call me Sadie [say-dee],” the Ferret said. “Everyone calls me Sadie.”

I picked her up.
“Okay, Sadie,” I said. “My name is Kat.”

Then I put her on the bed.
“Kat?” Sadie questioned. “That’s an interesting name.”
“I know,” I said. “It is, isn’t it.”

Cottonball turned to Sadie.
“Tell her how you came up from the ground!” Cottonball exclaimed.
“Yeah,” I added, “tell me.”

“Well,” Sadie began, “I come from the secret underground world of plush Ferrets. It’s not very awesome. I finally got sick of it and just left.”
“Needed to see some light?” I asked.
“That and they weren’t so great to me,” Sadie said. “It was better off if I just left.”
