"My Life is Webkinz" #1

The year of 2010 was filled with a new culture of MLIAs ("My Life is Average"), FMLs ("F*** My Life), and every small story type in between. Usually, people who liked a certain thing would take one of these and make it fit to their thing and share it within their communities. In my case, someone took MLIA and thought of "My Life is Webkinz" or MLIW--a type of short storytelling where Webkinz fans told stories that expressed how much they loved Webkinz.

I was in this community and I posted a lot about how I obsessed, so I will be sharing those posts here.

As soon as my friend saw me she was like "Kat, step away from the Webkinz shelf." :P MLIW. After counting all of my Webkinz pictures, I realize I've taken more pictures of them than my friends. 12,000 to about 100. One more thing they don't gotta know about. ::) MLIW. During dismissal at a camp I was texting my friend to go on my account and buy a Medieval rare for my collection because I wouldn't be in home to buy it. I accidentally got on the wrong bus. Oops! MLIW. My dogs have to sit on my Webkinz in order to get my attention. MLIW. (I still love them though! They're just always so busy!) My dogs have learned that if they want to sleep on my bed they have to deal with being surrounded by my 'Kinz. MLIW. I have no problem now when my friends want to watch a movie I don't care for. As long as they let me use their laptop with internet where I can collect trash, I'm happy. MLIW. I once was lying in my bed late at night when all of a sudden I had the need to make a Webkinz music video at 1 AM. I stayed up until 2 AM getting half of it done. MLIW. I have a "Webkinz Elevator" system set up by my window so my Webkinz can get outside in style. (Made up of a sled on the bush below and an easter basket with a scarf tied on it.) MLIW.
