First, I must say, this part was inspired by MKC. Thanks for inspiring me for a new storyline!

"Yes," Shuffle said. "I'm leaving for a week to go to Canada to see my family for Canada Day. I also need a break from this place."

Lacey smiled. "Oh! We're gonna miss you! Oh, boo hoo! Boo hoo!"

She hugged him, pretending she was gonna miss him, but it was obvious she was happy because of her laughter. "Boo hoo! Boo hoo!"

"Ha ha! Boo hoo! Boo hoo!" Lacey laughed as she ran off.

"Well, it's time to go," Shuffle said.

He then went to the window and opened it.

Lacey rolled around on the bed.
"Ha ha! Boo hoo!"

Rain began to drop down. It drummed against the roof, and the closed window. Cottonball left the window open, but the screen closed, in case Shuffle came back. The cold air was all that came through the screen.
As thunder began to crack, Cottonball wondered if Shuffle would even come back at all in a week.
She fell against the pile of pillows. All she could think of was Shuffle...
