(In this update, Nick, Chloe, and I have a small discussion around Entry 2 of The Squid V5 Log.)

Oh my goodness…it's been so long since my kid days that I had forgotten how real the ban on Tamagotchis and the fear of being caught with one was. I had forgotten about this little *life hack* I had come up with to hide my Tamagotchi while I was in school. Now that I think back, would my middle school teachers have really cared if they saw the outline of a Tamagotchi in my pocket? But…I was an ANXIOUS kid. Better safe than sorry?
"The fear was SO real back then," Chloe says. "Goodness, you freaked out over so much."
Hey, that's just the reality of being a kid with anxiety. The littlest things scare you. But then you grow up and see that so many things aren't that scary or something to worry about.
"Can we talk again about how descriptive you were about the little Tamagotchi details?" Chloe interjects.
"Once again, she used to get VERY into Tamagotchi details," Nick expresses. "She used to be able to name EVERY Tamagotchi character in the 4th grade, always able to tell her classmates about all the V1 details."
"She was good at memorizing details like that…" Chloe replies.
Yes, I would get REALLY into these things and focused on it! Webkinz and Tamagotchis were my main obsessions as a kid. And I used to focus on little Tamagotchi details, which was useful for this informative blog.
"Hey…are me and Nick going to be the only ones talking here?" Chloe asks.
"Good question!" Nick agrees.
I was thinking at first you two could add commentary because y'all were my firsts of Tamagotchi and Webkinz. Then, as more characters voices are heard and more narrative stories are told, other characters can come in! But I'm going to play around with the format as we go.
"Sounds good!" Nick exclaims.
"Of course," Chloe responds in an unsurprised tone.
But yes, here I was very descriptive with the animation reports. Probably me trying to be a writer…or just writer traits of me. Whatever I have going on in my creative brain…
"Oh, look!" Nick points out. "The pixels!"
Oh, remember when I used to make pixels! Good times. I even contributed to a couple of growth charts! Man, I used to get SO focused on getting my pixels PERFECT…staring so closely at that little Tamagotchi screen….
"THIS BLOG ENTRY IS SO LONG," Chloe complains.
Okay, okay! Well, you're making a good point. Let's move on!
