Okay so two Wednesdays ago I wrote this to post:
---
Alright kids. Lemme say: never give up. Recently for my writing course I literally submitted a piece in the format of my stories here on this thread (or, the new form it has developed into). Like, it's a future story coming!!! And I had it workshopped in class and like most of the class loved it?!?! (Only like 3 people hated it but it could possibly be that they didn't actually read too closely.) But I know my professor is like crazy obsessed with the concept/world? He was like "there's so much potential!!!" and I was like "you have no idea....." And now a few classmates are making me bring in one of my Webkinz to class for nostalgia and character fun. (Gonna bring Sharknado cause he's here but I might go bring in Chloe!!!! Just need to retrieve her from home.)
So kids, never give up on what you love. Don't ever let people tell you that you need to "grow out" of something like Webkinz. Don't ever tell them that Webkinz and other virtual pets don't make good story material.
---
Since then, last week I showed Chloe to my prof and some classmates it was great. XD
Also, last Friday I found a Webkinz Rabbit on the "For Free" table at like a thrift shop. So I picked it up! Thinking of calling them (a gender-neutral Rabbit!) Peyton.
Then today my friend gave me the regular Webkinz Labradoodle and Webkinz Blonde Labrador she got me for my birthday!!!
Also in case no one knew, my Webkinz 10yr was April 28th. I've literally dedicated my life to a game for 10 years...
