"It is, Detective Arif," Lacey said, not interested in his little mysteries. To Arif, everything was a mystery. And he just can't let go the mystery of how Lacey can fly.

"BATHROOM!" Shuffle yelled. "GONNA BE SIIIICK!"
Shuffle was about to get sick AGAIN. And he had to run because he barely had any energy to fly, and he felt a little, heavy.

I had just come in after my trip to the laundry room. Shuffle was running right past me, being chased by Arif.
"Oh, Shuffle!" Arif called out. "May I ask you a few questions?"
"NO!" Shuffle yelled.

I turned around as they past me and watched them run away.

"Alright, you guys," I said. "Your clothes are clean."

Nicole burst out of her blanket.
"FINALLY!" she exclaimed.
She had wrapped herself in a germ-free blanket to keep the germs away while she was waiting for her clothes to get clean.
