The Story of How I Started on Webkinz

My story? Yeah, this goes back a year ago. I guess it's not making me such a later-gater, considering all the new members. April 28, 2007 Yes, I remember the day. I remember it was a Saturday too. I remembered it was the night too. Because that was my birthday party. I invited 5 friends (including one's little sister). We all were crazy, and hyper. We threw my stuffed ferret around the car, and the girls in the back made him wave to the cars in back of us, and blow kisses to them. Yep, she's crazy. Anyway, when we got home, we finally opened presents. In one bag, I pulled out a poodle plushie. Not just a poodle plushie. It had a blue tag on it, saying "Webkinz." It was from a friend with the little sister that came along. The girls explained how Webkinz are stuffed animals that had a virtual pet side on the Webkinz website. My little brother started talking about Webkinz too. He said that his friend had one, and he wanted one. I was in shock. All these years, I dreamed of plush animals having a virtual pet side in a game world. My dream pet was right in front of me, and even my brother knew it existed before. After presents, we had my Fudgie the Whale cake. I had the poodle sit right next to my plate. Sadly, she got a small chocolate stain on the furry, soft part on her leg, or paw. Whatever. The part that was right above her paw. While we were eating cake, I asked my friends for some cute, French name suggestions. They suggested great names. A bunch of them said Paris, like Paris, France, but I wasn't into that name. Because I didn't want to make my first Webkinz feel like she was named after dumb Paris Hilton. Then I heard the perfect name, "Chloe." I just loved it. I announced to my friends that I would name her Chloe. Then I asked who suggested my name. I found out that my mom suggested that name. Then my friend's little sister and I went to my mom's laptop in the living room, which was the closest computer with internet by. We got on, and I went to adopt Chloe. My friend's little sister was giving me instructions. I carefully took off her tag. Then I placed the ribbon around Chloe's neck. I chose the username of SquidwardLover, because it was a common, yet old username choice of mine. Then, my mom started yelling for me to come with her to drop off the rest of my friends. I got in the front seat with not just my stuffed ferret, but Chloe too. I even brought her with me when I came out of the car to say "Bye" to my friends. The next day, I got my very first trophy. You guessed it. It was Webkinz Day 2007. I came just in time for the 2nd anniversary, which I was happy about. To this day, the trophy and frame still lie in Chloe's room. A few days later, I had already showed my mom the list of Webkinz retailers, and we were going to Cardsmart to get my brothers their first Webkinz. One got a Googles, which he named Quackers, and the other got a Lil' Frog, which he named Sean. Then, I saw the cutest little Persian cat, so I said "Why not?". And from then on, I was addicted... |

- 2/17/09: A bunch of new updates now up! And, the due date for the theme song contest has been announced! And, front page updated!
- 2/23/09: A bunch of updates now up! Also, I updated the front page. Also, I'm stopping the Saturday parties. They're a bit too much of chaos. Sorry, peoples.
- 2/28/09: The Fan Club got closed due to age! D: (Knew it would happen...) If someone wants to, make a new fan club!

- 3/20/09: SHOOT! Bandwith exceeded! You guys can't see the current photos until April 11. But don't worry. I have 3 other PhotoBuckets with about 2,000 photo space left on each.
- 3/22/09: HOLY SNOT! MAGIC HAS HAPPENED! The bandwith has been reset early! And I'm not listed as a Pro PhotoBucketer either. Either I was about to get the service for free on my iPod, or something else. But I won't be geting PhotoBucket Pro unless it's free. My parents would NEVER pay for it, so don't ask. Also! New updates! I'm also kinda sick, so no PTN this week.
- 3/28/09: OMG! Someone on Sailormoon.com is pretending to be me! Their username is Princess of Darkness! They're copying posts from this thread and everything! I AM NOT PRINCESS OF DARKNESS! My user there is moonlightblacklabs! Don't fall for Princess of Darkness! (Join sailormoon.com, then go to the message boards, then Random Pictures, then "My webkinz picture adventures!!". They're copying the thread!) Thanks Paramore909 for telling me!
- 3/29/09: I will now end the updates differently, for someone told me I should. It was a good idea! So now if people don't notice that and forget to edit it out when stealing my content, people will know that something's up. :) Also, the thread...it has been updated! Also, there will not be a 3rd thread until further notice, but I will do all the April stuff.
- 3/31/09: The thread will not close down tomorrow! So calm down! New Webbie! Arif is finally here! Also, on the Future Webkinz list, his name has been replaced by a new future Webbie! Which am I planning to get and why? Find out!
- 4/5/09: Front page updated, and I'll try to get some more help with this Sailor Moon thing.
- 4/10/09: New updates! Today marks the start of the Kat-Tastic Webkinz Weekend 3! Also, the Notification Club has been notified and new feature! There will also be another new feature coming soon!

- 4/13/09: I changed the title to "Meow it Up All You Want With Kat and the Webkinz!" for a little while to see what it would be like, and I wanted people to see more possible thread titles than "Share *blahblahblah*." If you're going to open a thread, make a unique title! I'm sad that my once unique title is the most ununique title on WI now. :(
- 4/14/09: Okay. A few things. First, my birthday party with you guys will be tomorrow. Make sure you have access to KinzChat PLUS and 500 KinzCash, because it'll be a tropical vacation! Second, front page updated. Third, on Thursday, I'll be messin' with my friends for the WHOLE weekend. I'll be on a few times, but I'll be doing crazy stuff. I'm having a birthday party on Thursday with friends in town, I'll have them sleepover, then Friday night I'm going out of town to another friend's house to have another birthday party (joint with her brother) with friends out of town, and I'll be staying there until Sunday. So, it'll be a crazy weekend. But the thing is, I'm asking friends in town for Webkinz, and I'll be going to the mall with my friends out of town, which will involve more Webkinz. So yay!
- 4/16/09: BIG NEWS! First of all, my friend got me a Domino Cat. Welcome, Stephiannalin! Also, the Sailor Moon plagiarizing issue has been RESOLVED! My content has been removed! Thanks for support that possibly helped! :D
- 4/19/09: I came back early yesterday. Today my dad got me 2 new Webkinz for my birthday! Mandy the Grey Squirrel and Debbie the Lil' Seahorse are FINALLY here!

- 6/2/09: In a bit, this thread will be closed. I will start a new one June 25, when my school year ends. I'll post all of the Mother's Day updates and updates I haven't posted yet in the new thread. I'm just getting busy and I have finals coming up. Also, this thread is getting a bit too long and spamish, and it's 3x over the limit (1,000 posts). Hold your horses. Keeps yourselves busy with YOUR schoolwork, and I'll still be here. Feel free to send me a message by profile.
