Thread History

Summary of History:

I am a big fan of Webkinz. Been a big fan for over a year! So, what inspired me to make this? My love of picture stories and pictures of Webkinz. And with my fast computer, my creativity, and with one of my dad's cameras, I was able to make a thread! Originally, I called this thread "Come See Katie and Her Webkinz". And originally, I was just going to post videos of the pictures because I was so lazy. Then, someone told me that YouTube links weren't allowed, and TinyPic drove me nuts, so all bummed, I left for a day. When I came back, I got comments on my Webkinz' names! All hyper and excited, I began to post pictures through TinyPic. Then, I realized, PhotoBucket would be A LOT faster! And, it was! So, I posted the first few updates, got bored, and left WI for a while. When I returned, I go soooo many new comment! I was all hyped up! I began posting more and more pictures! And the popularity just kept rising and rising! Eventually, I changed the name of this thread to "Share a Meow With Kat and the Webkinz" because it was more creative and also I had a new nickname. Then, after my dad got me a NEW hard drive, I started posting virtual pictures and I made graphics for the thread! Eventually, I started posting half real-life - half virtual updates, then I offered shout-outs and ads, and I eventually started inspiring others to make picture threads! The thread just kept improving and improving, and eventually I got my own fan club! And then Saturday parties started going on, which are updates, and now today, the thread is here!

Timeline:

July 10, 2008: Kat Gets the Idea of "Kat and the Webkinz" After Browsing WI.
July 11, 2008: Thread Opened After Pictures Prepared on Video. (Named "Come See Katie and Her Webkinz")
Kat Gets Told No Videos Allowed, Which Was the Planned Way of Posting Pictures. Kat Leaved Depressed.
2 Hours Later, Kat Comes Back and Finds 2 Comments on Her Names, So She Starts Posting Pictures.
July 12, 2008: Kat Posts More Pictures For the People of WI.
July 13, 2008: Even Though the First 3 Were Considered Together, the First Multi-Post Update Has Been Posted. ("Making Easy Mac With Madeline") (Then She Gets Bored Afterwards, and Leaves For a Bit, Then Comes Back After a Couple Days.)
August 2, 2008: Kat Becomes Active and Posts Little Random Mini-Updates From Her Camera and Lists, Most From Her Friend's House, Where She Was Sleeping Over For the Night to Get Away From Family.
August 4, 2008: Kat Posts More Mini-Updates From Her Camera, and the Sleepover Update She Took at Her Friend's House, Which Happened Randomly Which Was After a Pool Party For Her Friend. "The Sleepover" Was the First Update With a Conversation Between Webkinz and it Started the Older Brother - Little Sister Relationship Between Salem and Sophie.
August 9, 2008: Room Makeover Announced.
August 10, 2008: "Lacey's Saturday," First Update About a Webkinz's Entire Day Was Posted Up. And the First Time a Webkinz of Kat Has Entered Her Grandma's House. (And, Lacey's First Time Flying.)
