Everyone who wants their own little family unit gets one they truly want and what's truly meant for them. Everyone but Chloe.

"Chloe?" I inquired as I put my hand on her back.

Everything was overwhelming her. She leaped and started clinging to my chest in a tight hug as she began to cry. "I'm going to miss you so much," she whispered. "You know I love you, right? You know I truly appreciate you? You do know my sarcasm and snarkyness is all an act right?"
It was weird, because I've never seen Chloe cry before. She either holds it in or takes it out through aggression. I've never seen a dear drop from her face before in any situation, whether it was heartbreak or something disappoints her.
I wrapped my arms around her little plush body. "I know, I'll miss you too...more than you know."

"I don't want you to go," she blubbered. "I mean, I want you to go. I want you to be successful and be independent and stuff, but I don't want things to change with us. I want you to be here and revolve your lives around us the way you always have." She paused. "I mean, what if this is the end? What if the distance makes you forget about us? What if the new environment makes you think you're too old for silly old Webkinz?"
"This is not the end," I told her. "I'll be back for you guys. I love all of you more than anything else in the world."

Kat was packing, and I saw Shona hanging out on the bed.
Maybe if I talk to her I can ease my worrying.
I climbed up.
I saw her lying down peacefully on her back.

They discussed how great their food was as they walked towards me.
"Hey guys," I greeted.
"Zami came to us while we were at dinner and told us you had something to announce," Chloe inquired.
"Do I now?" I questioned, unaware about what she was talking about.

"Yes, she does!" Zami answered when he landed on the bed from flying. "She asked me and some others to do some work to ease the transition of Kat going away, and we made some serious progress."
"Really? Tell us more, then!" I instructed.

Sabrina magically appeared and Zuzu floated down net to Zami.

"Well, me and Sabrina did some magical research on the future," Zuzu began.

"And we figured out that we won't be getting reincarnated anytime soon!" Sabrina continued. "Since Kat spent so much time writing stories about us, we live on through her writing. As long as people keep reading about us and our picture stories, we all stay here in this life."
"Well that's settling!" I praised.

Mandy climbed up and Zeb floated down.
"We have been doing some research about a special place we can construct," Mandy informed.
"We're gonna make our own world where any Webkinz and plushes and such in the world can meet us!" Zeb told us excitedly.
"Yes, I'm scientifically constructing another empty alternate universe where everyone that's a plush or some other toy can get to and see anyone they wanna see, and no owners running accounts is required for them to meet up!" Mandy explained. "And Zeb and Zami are putting finishing touches on it."
"Wow! That's amazing!" I exclaimed excitedly.

Giraffe magically appeared and Zool and Zalo landed by the group.
"We have done some work too," Zalo said.
"Yeah! We came up with ideas for ways Kat can keep in contact with us!" Zool added.
"Teehee! They're good!" Giraffe giggled.
"First of all, we figured we could always message Kat through texts, e-mails, and so on," Zool began.
"Of course," I said.
"We also figured Kat could log onto Webkinz World every day so we could say hi in person in a way!" Zalo continued. "Not to mention, videochat would also be cool. Maybe even video messages somewhere? And we could leave each other notes and pictures on the thread!"
"I could do that," I said. "And I'll give Chloe my Webkinz World password in case you guys need to do something with an account holder online and I'm not able to get on. And I really like the idea about leaving notes on the thread!"
"We though it would be cute," Zool commented.
"I'll definitely still be active with the thread," I told them. "I'll still be doing mini picture stories with Shona and her family, I'll give Chloe my Webkinz Insider password so you guys can post notes and blog entries, I'll make virtual picture stories, there's still a ton of bios to do, and I'll still have major picture story finales I'll have to write and take pictures for during my breaks. We'll still be sharing ourselves."

"Y'know, it's kinda funny," I said. "Have you guys ever though how weird it was that destiny brought us together? I mean, Chloe was originally a birthday gift from my friends they bought during their vacation in Pennsylvania. What if they had decided to get another gift? What if they didn't come to my birthday party?"

"What if you're first Webkinz were different?" Rex added. "What if you didn't join in on the craze until way later, and that affected how obsessed you would be?"
"I probably wouldn't have given Webkinz any thought at all," I continued. "I would maybe have gotten one to see the obsession then never played again. I would have never got into Webkinz Insider and started the thread."
"Imagine all that," Rex said.

"Funny how destiny works, huh?" I added. "I could have ended up with any other Webkinz, and you guys could have ended up with any other owner."

I got up. "Well, I need to go get dressed and run some errands now. I'll see you guys!"

I walked through the doorway, finished with my errands, and waved my car keys. "You guys! I picked up some Dunkin' Donuts for my family and got us some doughnuts too!"

Paris, Taffy, and Emma cheered as they ran towards me. "Yaaay! Doughnuts!"
Campbell and Zami scurried up to us as well.
"Ooh! Yummy!" Campbell exclaimed.
"Are they in the kitchen?" Zami asked.
"Of course!" I replied. "Come on! I'll carry you guys there!"
"Wait!" I heard a voice cry from the distance.
It was Rex. He popped his head up on top of the bed. "Wait for us!"
He disappeared again, then appeared as he was walking around the bed with Chloe by his side. He was holding her arm, guiding her towards up.
"Come on, Chloe," Rex said softly and almost inaudibly. "Come eat with your family."
Chloe nodded.
I scooped them up as we walked towards the kitchen.
